PLATER WINS SENIOR T T

After John McGuinness retired with a broken chain while leading the Pokerstars Senior T T. It was left to team mate Steve Plater who took over the lead to try to notch up Honda's 142nd T T win in their 50th year of racing at the T T. Ramsey's Conor Cummins pushed Plater all the way to the delight of the local spectators. Cummins finished in second place and also picked up the Gavin Lee trophy for the best placed Manx competitor in the Senior T T. Plater won the race in a time of 1 hour 45.53 minutes and a speed of 128.27 mph on his H M Plant Honda also setting a new race record.
