JENNY SETS LAP RECORD

Every T T has a host of newcomers taking on the challenge of the Mountain circuit. This year saw around 17 newcomers with one of them being Jenny Tinmouth who regularly competes in the British Supersport 600cc Championship. At the T T Jenny rode a Honda CBR 600 RR and Honda Fireblade. On lap four of the Senior
T T Jenny put in a lap of 19 minutes 22.56 seconds and a speed of 116.83 mph. This made Jenny the fastest female competitor ever around the 37.76 mile circuit. Jenny picked up the award for best newcomer which in the past has been won by Steve Plater in 2007 and James Hillier in 2008.
